Passion and compassion is what led me (Mirna) to start Amaryllis Vegan Personal Chef & Catering. I became vegetarian many years ago and have been completely vegan for 3 years now. Growing up, my family didn’t really strive for creativity in cooking, and compassion towards animals and the environment wasn’t on anyone’s mind. I transformed my family’s way of thinking through many talks and I found that the best method is through their bellies - I would study cooking skills and techniques and work hard to prove that you can have it all with plant based food - health, deliciousness and certainly diversity. What started as a wish for my close ones to live healthy lives and be more kind towards the animals and our planet, ended up leading me to a path of unlimited culinary creativity and diversity of flavors, something I am eager on sharing with you.
